No insight into what the different advertising channels deliver
Neofollics is at the forefront of technologies. This applies not only to their products but also to their marketing processes. Google's announced GA4 update was a significant trigger to further investigate the possibilities.
Furthermore, Neofollics had also been struggling with the problem of not having a clear overview of the results per channel. With advertising budgets sometimes running to thousands of euros per day, it is important to know which channels are performing well.
With advertising on Google, Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok, the ROAS from the different channels was unclear. There had been a long-standing need for this, which ultimately accelerated the decision for server-side tagging.
“You just go that extra mile, which is something we do in our organisation too. We're a customer of yours, but it really feels like a partnership. I like that we can bounce ideas off each other and both put in a bit more effort.”
A direct link to the Shopify webshop provided more insight into the data
Following the announced Google update, Laurens and his colleagues began researching the possibilities. What data is available and what can be done with it? A key driver for Neofollics is to remain at the forefront of the market.
A new employee at Neofollics put Laurens in touch with Koen (Founder AdPage). They possessed very clear technical knowledge. Koen's short communication lines and involvement provided the starting point for a long-term collaboration.
By directly linking AdPage's server-side tagging solution with the Shopify webshop, Neofollics is able to send more conversions and data to Google Ads and Google Analytics.
“All sorts of buttons have been turned, meaning the advertising channels are better fed. We are now seeing that very clearly in the results. Because so much more data is now available, we even achieved our highest revenue to date in January.”
The confidence that the data is correct has returned, resulting in 92% revenue growth.
The combination of server-side tagging and Tracify has enabled Neofollics to accurately visualise the visitor journey. Trust in the data's accuracy has been restored.
From the analyses, it quickly became clear that the push channels (Meta, TikTok and Pinterest) hardly generated any extra conversions, but that more than 60% of the e-shop revenue comes from Google Ads.
This insight has allowed Neofollics to focus its advertising budgets precisely on the right channels. This has had a huge impact on the company's results. The number of buyers has increased by 93%and revenue has increased by over 92%!
